About Us
Anthony Riddick founded ATR Electric in 2025. Three licensed electricians working across Oregon and Washington.

Who We Are
Licensed Portland Electricians for Homes and Small Commercial
ATR Electric was founded in 2025 by owner and electrician Anthony Riddick, built on hard work and driven by integrity. It now runs three licensed electricians across 30 cities in Oregon and southwest Washington, working for homeowners, business owners, contractors and property managers.
- Oregon CCB #262727
- Washington #ATRELEL744KO
- Permits pulled and inspected
- Free written estimates
Too often people are left with work that was never completed, never done right, or never started at all, and that is what makes a whole trade look untrustworthy. ATR Electric is here to be the company and the electrician you can trust all around, on a single dead outlet or on a full rewire.

Why Choose Us
What Sets ATR Electric Apart
Electrical work is about more than wiring and circuits. Three licensed electricians work to one standard across the Portland metro, and the same commitment to quality and safety goes to a homeowner with one dead outlet as to a property manager with a building full of them.
30 metro cities covered
Portland, Beaverton, Hillsboro, Tigard, Lake Oswego and Vancouver WA, plus both metro counties.
18 electrical services
Panel upgrades, rewires, EV chargers, lighting and generators, for homes, businesses and rentals.
2 states fully licensed
Licensed, bonded and insured in Oregon and Washington, so either side of the river is covered alike.
1 standard since 2025
Priced in writing, permitted where the work needs it, and inspected before the job is called done.

What We Stand For
What the ATR Electric Standard Means on Your Job
The Golden Rule
You Hear What the Job Needs, Not More
If a repair will hold, that is what you hear. If a panel is at the end of its life, you hear that too, in plain English, and the decision stays yours. The same answer goes to a landlord with ten units and to a homeowner calling about one dead outlet.
- Nothing sold that you do not need
- Plain English and never jargon
- The decision always stays with you
- The same answer whoever is asking

Time and Attention
Work That Does Not Need Doing Twice
A job that is rushed comes back. Nobody gets pulled off your address to start the next one, the wiring is dressed in and the panel labelled before anyone leaves, and what is behind the wall is exactly what the inspector saw and signed off on.
- One job finished before the next
- Wiring dressed, panel labelled
- Nothing buried an inspector missed
- Built so nobody has to come back

Calls go straight to Anthony, not to a dispatcher or an answering service. A photo of the panel or the fixture helps if you have one, though nothing is needed to get the conversation started. Estimates on planned work are free.

Good to Know
Common Questions About ATR Electric
Who will actually be doing the work?
ATR Electric is a team of three licensed electricians. The owner walks and prices every job and stays with it to the final inspection, so the person who quoted your work is answerable for it.
How long has ATR Electric been in business?
The company was founded in 2025 and works across Portland and southwest Washington. Every job that needs a permit gets one, so the work is on record rather than taken on trust.
Are you licensed in Washington as well as Oregon?
Yes. Oregon CCB #262727 and Washington #ATRELEL744KO. Vancouver and the rest of southwest Washington run under Washington code with a different inspector, and we are licensed for both sides of the river.
Do you take on commercial work as well as homes?
Yes. Small commercial and multi family alongside residential, for contractors and property managers as well as homeowners: panels and distribution, storefront and parking lot lighting, tenant fit outs and the repairs that come with them.
Can you finish or fix work another electrician left?
Yes, and it is a common call. Work that was never completed, never done right or never started at all is what the company was founded over. Expect an honest account of what is already in the wall before anything is quoted, including the parts that are fine.
What happens if something is not right after you leave?
You call and we come back. Anything that needed an inspector has already been signed off, and the rest gets put right rather than argued about.
